Hi! I'm Sue, a CBT therapist in Glasgow, with special interest in helping adults who struggle with food, body image, and self-worth
I know how overwhelming it can feel to constantly be thinking about what you’re eating, how you look, or whether you’re “doing good enough”. These patterns are often less about food, and more about how we relate to ourselves.
Many of the clients I work with describe feeling stuck in their thoughts, overwhelmed by emotions, or caught in patterns of bingeing and restricting food that they can’t seem to change.
My role is to help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and to support you in building new, more helpful ways of thinking and responding. I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach, grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailored to you and your goals.
I have additional training in working with eating disorders and body image concerns. I take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, especially when it comes to food and self-worth.
Therapy with me won’t be about pushing or fixing—it’s about understanding, exploring, and creating lasting change.
Clients often say they feel genuinely heard and understood in sessions, and that they leave with practical tools to use in daily life—not just insight, but real progress.
Whether you’re new to therapy or returning to it, I offer a calm and supportive space to figure things out.
When you’re ready, reach out to schedule a free 20-minute call to see if we’d be a good fit.
